Synopsis

Natalia, Edith, and Lucia, who are these Colombian women affected by different forms of violence, and how are they using art to reclaim their dignity and that of their communities?

Despite their diverse life paths, they share a common message of peace. Artists, social workers, and mothers, they fight every day through and for art, placing creativity at the service of resilience. Their stories offer a message of hope and a vision for peaceful coexistence in Colombia.

Approach

The film was shot between March and August 2017 and was entirely self-financed. It is therefore a non-profit, solidarity-driven project. Born from a desire to share and convey a powerful message, it addresses the universal theme of peacebuilding, in Colombia and beyond.

Directed with generosity and realism, the film fosters hope for a brighter future while offering a thoughtful reflection on the role of education. It invites a fresh perspective on the challenges of post-war societies and raises awareness of issues affecting women, who are often key bearers of messages of peace.
